Vision Statement:

To unify the body of Christ across denominations and to promote and uphold the sanctity of human life throughout the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

Mission Statement:

The CPCEP is a Christ-centered ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of human life by assisting the women and their families facing the challenges of unplanned pregnancies, by ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs resulting from an abortion or miscarriage, and by promoting sexual abstinence until marriage.

The CPCEP will:

  • Proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ by demonstrating the love of Christ
  • Uphold the sanctity and dignity of human life by offering
    alternatives to abortion
  • Provide spiritual, practical and emotional support to the women, their families, and others in relationship to them facing unplanned pregnancies
  • Provide support groups and/or peer counseling for women experiencing stress resulting from abortion or miscarriage
  • Provide abstinence education to the community through the CPCEP, schools, churches and community organizations
  • Provide these services free of charge
  • Maintain confidentiality within the boundaries of the laws of West Virginia
  • Make these services available to anyone who needs them.

Care Pregnancy Center Statement of Faith:

    1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
    2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
    4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works.
    5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works.
    6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
    7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
